About Sahra Raward

Hi, I'm Sahra — an Australian artist, workshop teacher, and lifelong maker based in the beautiful coastal village of Fingal Head, NSW.

I've been painting for over 20 years, and somewhere along the way I fell completely in love with watercolour. There's something about the way it moves — unpredictable, fluidity that still excites me every single time I pick up a brush. My work is inspired by the world right outside my studio door, wildflowers, coastal light, the colours of the Northern Rivers at different times of day. I paint intuitively, without sketches or reference images, letting each piece find its own way.

Art Workshops in Fingal Head & Online Watercolour Workshops

I run in person art workshops and painting classes in Fingal Head, NSW, as well as throughout the Northern Rivers / Gold Coast and anywhere in the world! My workshops are relaxed, supportive and suitable for beginners through to experienced artists.

The Paint & Create Studio is my online community where we paint together on the 2nd & 4th Thursday night. A beautiful group of painters, being gently guided in learning something new each workshop together.
